is Don Kent, meteorologist from the boston area, still alive? i know he retired in the mid 80's from WBZ.

He was born about 1920 which makes him about 87. He is retired but still writing on the Lakes Region NH web site about weather.

Yes, he is. He lives in the Lakes Region of NH now.
