That will depend on your state. Go to the clerk's office in the county where it occurred and see if it is still on your record; if it is, you may have to have it expunged to get it removed, in which case you would need the services of an attorney.

What did they tell you when you applied to have it expunged? Criminal records don't just get taken off after a certain time like credit report records, you have to ask that they be removed.

Unless expunged nothing goes off your record

It will stay there forever unless you get it expunged. Call your local bar association for the name of an attorney to help you with that. The 1st consultation is usually free.

all offenses (misdemaenor and felonies) stay on your record as an adult.
only a minor gets the benefit of it being hidden.
