36. I hope you're at least 2nd grade or younger. That's probably something you should know by 2nd grade. And another thing, how come so many people don't use spell check? Aren't they teaching anything in school these days?

Lets see

12 in = 1 ft

3ft = 1 yd

so if I multiply the first equation by 3,

I get 36 in = 3 ft but 3ft = 1 yd so 36 in = 1 yd

36 inches.
