I guess I got so used to the fact that dogs are colorblind, I started thinking EVERY animal is colorblind. I'm hoping that isn't true. Specifically I was wondering if Sugar Gliders could see color or not.

Australian sugar gliders are marsupials and I don't know of any marsupials with color vision. Besides this, these animals are nocturnal, and most nocturnal mammals can't see color.

The sugar gliders in the trees at the bottom of my garden do not need colour vision as they are nocturnal.
