For all people the answer is lust. Love takes too much time to develop and be true, where as lust is instant. Alot of the time lust is the precursor to love so even if you do love someone, you also lust or have lusted over them at one point.

Lust is fantastic, but cant last too long. The one time I had it really, really bad, I fell for this guy & we had sex every day (in one way or another) for 6 months! It was incredible but didn't last. I was once in love for 4 years. Lust is easy to fall into. Love is the real deal.

I'm with "Stephen K" ... either doesn't seem to be working out for me at this point... but I'm very cautious with love - I think it's thrown around too much, and not REALLY meant by the people that say it. It's easy to think you're in love, but true love doesn't just come around the corner.
But I have been in love - but it's easier to fall in lust, and I've been there too. It's kind of even keel for me in my past.
