First of all congratulations are in order! New life means there is still hope! The cramps are normal but I encourage you to stay active -excercise: walk, stretch, keep moving so you don't get stiff. Also, if you plan to breast feed - I highly recommend getting your nipples ready. When you shower or bathe, scrub with some effort. (not enough to hurt yourself, but enough to numb your nipples up) Be prepared that your newborn already knows some tricks. He or she can really clamp down on a nipple with those cute little gums. If you have not prepared your nipples, honey, you will get a shock of your life! (smile)
My daughter bit so hard she drew blood and it was all over for my breastfeeding.

This happened to me in my first pregnancy. My boobs were so sore, it hurt to even wear a bra. I know that feeling. I also cramped mildly for my first month after I found out I was pregnant. So don't worry too much about it. It is common. Just your bodies way of adjusting.
Good luck!

well lets just say you are goig to hav cramps all throughout the pregnacy. and dont worry about the boobs getting bigger because that is for if you want to breast feed when the baby comes so you should already know they are goin to hurt a little but dont wry everything will be ok

i noticed some slight cramping around that time. as long as its not severe and there is no bleeding you should be ok. also, when you get to be around 18 weeks or so you will probably feel some more stretching pain. its not like period cramps, but its uncomfortable. this is from the ligaments stretching that support the uterus. it really alarmed me and no one told me that i would experience that, so I am giving you a heads up.

I am five weeks along too and I am experiencing the same thing. Kind of constant nagging/pulling cramps...not like menstrual cramps. Anyway, from everything I have read this is totally normal and your body's way of adjusting and making room for baby:) Congrats!!!

I believe the mild cramps are very normal. I found out that I am pregnant a few days ago and my boobs are heavy and sore. I have had cramps too, but very mild and they come and go...

It is normal to feel some stretching of the uterus which may fell like slight cramping. I would only be concerned if they become painful.
