It's a blood stain in the backseat, so I don't have to see it everyday. I debated just leaving it. I tried to clean some other stains in my car with oxyclean, but the upholstery faded in that area. I really don't want to risk ruining my awesome print upholstery. Since this stain is blood, I'm afraid that it will ruin my chances for any other backseat passengers. I mean, how unsanitary, right?

Next time get the passengers out of the car first before you kill them.

you briefly mentioned the exterior so we cant tell if the outside is painted or not and if it just needs its paint washed and waxed at a detail shop near by or what.As far as the interior its best to try to work a deal once again at a detail shop as they have the right equipment for a badly stained interior so then once its cleaned its easier to keep it that way. you can clean things like floor mats outside the car on the ground with dishsoap and water but coffee stains are sometimes thourogh and permenant so using a professional service the first time is to your benefit I have cleaned a light brown carpet one time the worst I have ever seen with food smashed into it. I scraped the worst food out cleaned the carpet by using half a can of resolve on the toyota pick up trucks carpet and used a string mop also from walmart to work the foam into the carpet by the time you do that it picks up a lot of dirt and food and what ever tther crap is smashed into the carpet into the string mop. I wash it out later and let the darpet dry real good. The next day if the carpet looks ok fine, but if it looks like crap I have been known to spray paint the carpet with black spray .

At the university motor pool I work for, we use Simple Green to remove stains (even ones that have already set in) from all our vehicles. Spray some on, then use a brush to scrub it out.
