Having lived more than half a century, and then some, having fought in a war, I have seen the best and worse of politics. The people that answer above that post childish comments are babes in the woods when it comes to knowing anything about politics or anything else for that matter. I would guess the most were born when Regan was president or Nixon. They bash this country not knowing how close we are to being taken over by socialist Congressional leaders or having our way of life attacked by terrorist. It is apparent by the questions you see in politics that there are many that have not matured mentally, much less politically. I still have yet to see what questions calling names proves to anyone over the age of 15. I only hope by the time they grow up it will not be too late to hold onto the America we grew up with. My views and opinions were formed long before the computer became a household appliance.

No, but some answers have given me more thought into a subject. I enjoy seeing both sides of a political view it helps to form an unbiased opinion.

No, but it is really interesting to be able to see what other people's opinions based on their political views while doing it anonymously. Since it's anonymous then people aren't afraid to really say what is on their mind and you can get brutal but honest answers here no matter how biased.

No.
I possess this rare attribute called "common sense", and as such the Liberal Democrat or NeoConservative Republican propaganda has no effect on me. Therefore, I've never strayed from my old school non-religious Conservative Republican (NOT a NeoConservative) status.
Which reminds me...I really do need to change my voter registration to Libertarian. That's where a lot of the real Conservatives have went lately.

Well, I was for the flat tax, but because of some answers on here, I'm not so sure now. I don't know where I stand now and am trying to learn more about our current tax system (which I don't agree with) other tax systems, and other alternatives..

Not really, but I do research most of the stuff I see here written by people with opposing view points...and there are a few Liberals that I do see their view points and respect their opinion (i.e Pip)...only thing Yahoo Answers did for me was turned me on to Fred Thompson and what he stands for...
