I really think I can help. My son's due date was 2-14 of this year (but he didn't come out til 2-24). My LMP was 5-11-06. It was from that date that they started counting my pregnancy. Now I didn't get prego that week because I was on my period. And then we didn't have sex until May 22nd. That was the day I got pregnant. My son was born almost exactly 40 weeks from the day. So I would say that the father is absolutely the guy from the one night stand. I hope this helps & good luck to your friend!
And Hey Eileen B.- our babies were born the same day!! Congrats!!

If the doctor did an ultrasound, the chances of the doc being wrong are slim to none. An ultrasound is very accurate because it can see how far the baby is developed and a baby that is 3 months along will be much more developed than a baby that is only 4-6 weeks along. Plus, a woman can still get a normal period even though she is pregnant, making her unaware of the fact that she is pregnant until she actually misses her period. A doctor would not make an assumption that a woman is farther or lesser along in a pregnancy just by looking at someones belly. Every woman grows differently during pregnancy and shows at different times. Maybe your friend is not being honest with you when she tells you she only had sex one time before christmas eve...

I'm due on February 12...I know for a fact I conceived on May 19 because I had an IUI (fertility treatment) that day. If your friend is due on the 14th, I'd say she got pregnant around the 21st of May.

I went to the online pregnancy calculator that I used during my last pregnancy, and with a due date of Feb.14, it gave an estimated date of conception as May 24. That is, of course, give or take a few days, so it very well could be his! I put the link below.

The average amount of days from conception to delivery is 260-270 without problems. My son was born on the 264th day. If the child you are asking about was conceived on May 26th, it would be born on February 14th. 264 days.... It is MOST likely his child...

It is hard to say when exactly, and it doesn't really matter because they just date your pregnancy back to the date of your last period....and your question is exactly why they do that. It is much to hard to pinpoint conception. I am due Feb 7th, and my last period was May 4th. So they just go from the May 4th date.

Yes, it could be his, and probably is..Unless she had sex with someone else within those same 3 days..then she has a chance either one could be. You ovulate 12-14 days after the 1st day of your period in a normal 28 cycle. Sperm can live for 3 days, so you can even get pregnant 3 days after sex.

According to the Feb 14th due date the day she got pregnant is May 10th. So i would say unless it was more than a one nighter then it is not the one night stands baby. Even though it is easier to get pregnant on ovulation days you can get pregnant any day during your cycle.
Good luck
