well, i don't think other countries necessarily hate America or Americans but our traditional allies are certainly sorely disappointed with the American policies and actions that have been foisted on the world over the past 6-7 years. they, like most of us, can't wait for the day when a grown-up sits in the Oval Office again. a spoiled smirking frat brat who plays with the most powerful military machine in the world as if it's made out of green plastic makes everyone nervous.

I wouldn't say hate they hate America. They hate certain Americans.

They find those knuckle heads who thinks it's cool to bomb and overthrow foreign governments, torture brown people, and so on, are cracked. Especially when they still talk about freedom and all that crap after all the crazy things they do.
Nothing is ever their fault, always playing the victim (which is quite pathetic) when they're the ones doing the bullying.
I believe they call it American Exceptionalism.

The Foxnews crowd is an excellent example of who the world hates. They chant "USA #1!!!! WHOOOOO!!!!" ,but, #1 at what? Literacy? Infant Mortality? Healthcare?

Fortunately, these monkeys are a minority in their country. Unfortunately, they also find themselves in power quite often.

becasue you think youre better than everyone and you obviously have no clue that you are the largest and most powerful military force in the world. Youre only slightly intimidating to other countries. Duh?! And also countries only have majorities that hate america al lot of people like america. Up here in canada i have a lot of good american friends.

See the above question on CNN for an answer to your question. The vast majority of people in other countries cannot afford to visit the US, nor do they know any Americans. Their only source of information about America is the american media and entertainment industry. Their false imporessions of America come directly from magazines, TV and newspapers with a democrat agenda being more important than an accurate depiction of what America really is.

They can't stand America because they are die hard liberal/socialists and resent our capitalistic ways. They have some idea that people earning all the same money will make them comfortable, they don't realize how poor they will be. Bush is only a scapegoat they are using to bring America down.

Many claim (Especially Arab Countries) it's because the USA is trying to force it's style of Governing on them and yet those same Arab Countries are trying to force their Islamic style of Governing on the rest of the world.

At least the USA is not going around killing thousands of innocent civilians by blowing them up like the Islamic fanatics are doing and then they claim they are doing it in the name of God.

They hated us pre WWII because we were isolationists, since then they hate us for getting ourselves involved in sovereign country's affairs.

I find it interesting that they consider the love of their country as pride and America's love of their country as "arrogance"
