I have 2 SATA hard drives and they both have heaps of errors in the event viewer.
The PC frequently turns itself off, freezes, and is very slow on the internet. It wasn't like this when I first set it up. I do use a fileshare program but I am going to stop as soon as I fix whatever is wrong.
One of the drives is not being seen by BIOS, I have asked about this on answers before but got no help.
What I want to do is back up all data onto one drive and then format the other and then use it as my system drive, but if there is errors on it, will they still be there after the format?
I have done virus scans and they all come up clean. The drives are in SATA ports 1 and 2, its the drive in port 2 that is not recognised but I can still use it in windows. If there is any more information that would help, ask for more details.
Thanks..
