I love my country. I fear my government. I believe that we are all being lied to by our leaders in charge.

If Dubya was a true leader then why did he sit on his dead azz when he was told that our nation is under attack? Dumbfounded he just sat there. Any one else would have jumped up and tried to do something but he sat there.

Maybe it's because he knew that in the end he could benefit greatly from this whole mess. I mean he has been granted special executive powers during wartime, why would he want to give those up? He's been able to run things as he's seen fit during his entire Administration. He's made a fortune in the Carlyse Group and military contracting with United Defense so why not?

Why do so many of you Conservatives keep labeling an entire group of people because of what one or a few might say or think?

Just because I am a Democrat does not mean that I follow everything about the Party. I have my own mind and my own views.

I served in the Army (First Gulf War) and was proud to do so.

I agree with pro life unless the Mother's health/life is at risk.

I don't believe we should just pull out of Iraq until we can be sure that it won't come back and bite us in the @ss later on in the future.

So you see...I do consider myself a Patriot who Loves his Country.

You will never hear me accuse all Conservatives as being corrupt, sexual abusing criminals just because of the few who have been found to be.

That would be wrong because there are many good Conservatives out there just like there are many good Liberals out there too.

I have many Conservative Friends and they are good people and when we do discuss politics, we just agree to disagree.

That's what being American and being a real Patriot is!

The great thing about America is that you can call your own government out on the carpet. I would say it is very unpatriotic to try and squelch any view, since our nation is based upon the freedoms that so many have died for. Unless you are a W. Bush republican, those are freedoms to hold onto tightly.
