what did you guys think of the new transformers movie? pretty kickass. Hot rod should have been in it. One question- so that guy shoved the cube into megatron to kill him right? It looked like it just sucked into him. He died to easily. Optimus got his *** wooped by him too, optimus is suppose to be a little better- or at least equal. Megatrons death was BS- what do you think?

Yes- that Megan Fox girl definatly made up for anything wrong with the movie. Where did she come from? never seen her before. She gave me a hot rod for about 10 hours after i left the theater.

I think that it may be a way for Hollywood to bring Galvatron into a sequel without having to copy the 1986 cartoon movie and using the planet devouring transformer, Unicron. In that story line, Megatron did in fact kill Optimus Prime.
I seriously doubt Megatron is dead. First, we saw what the Allspark did to the cell phone. Secondly, He was dropped into the ocean... why not just completely dismember him? They were completely capable of doing so... but then they couldn't use him in a sequel.
With the infusion of the Allspark, I believe that it will somehow transform the evil transformer into the even more powerful Galvatron.
As for Hotrod, keep in mind that he was, in fact, not one of the original Transformers. The 1986 movie was 20 years into the future of the original cartoon. Hotrod may be a future Transformer in a sequel, but I can understand why he wasn't in this one.

I really liked the movie. Bumblebee was my favorite. Well the way it ended kind of made me think there will be a part 2 but who knows. Didn't Optimus die in the cartoon movie? Maybe Megatron is a little bit better.

I think the ending and what you said about Hot Rod summed up my big problem with the movie:
Too many annoying, whiny humans... not enough cool robots.
I like the movie ok, but honestly, I was disappointed. I wish just about anyone else besides Michael Bay had directed it.

I don't know that seemed ok to me. Since optimus couldn't beat him and the cube was the most powerful thing at hand then it made since to me. I mean that cube held so much power, it created life. Not so BS to me.

I'm glad older audiences get a kick out of the movie, also.....I remember when my brothers watched that on cartoon, after school. I still pretended to be Princess Leah, but all the good Jedis left, watching transformers......lol, lol, lol

I thought the exact same thing. Weak ending, but the movie as a whole was excellent, especially with Megan Fox in it...=)
