When did the Pakistani government go under? This is not the proper question to ask. The more appropriate question to ask is whether the Pakistani government ever had legitimate authority to keep control in the first place? This was a nation, after all, which got its start as a result of preserving religious identity. Hence, despite the secular veneer Pakistan tries to display to the world, Pakistan is fundamentally governed by religious fanaticism that stems from a grassroots level. Such a country, whose ethos is so deeply intertwined with such an insufferably militant religion, cannot be one governed to protect its citizen’s rights. Ultimately religious maxims, with all the absurdities that such precepts entail, will lead the country to a ruinous state.

Actually the US could learn a lot from the calamity that is transpiring in Pakistan right now. The US is beginning to see a rise in fundamentalist Christianity, which has as its explicit aim, the redefinition of American identity to be that which is synonymous with a literal understanding of the Christian faith. We should heed the lessons from Pakistan, and fight the religious fanatics in our own midst vehemently.

As a non aggressive person,I feel in today's current political climate with these half witted wanna be martyrs, we should refuse to give them the media or air-space they so desperately seek.. The Pakistani Government should not be held responsible for the actions of the few, however they need to be seen to be doing something to try and end it. As a nation here in UK, we should now stop all flights to and from these country's, anyone outside the country even if born here, should be shut out, any further immigrants should also approach closed gates. the genuine people will then stand against their own race to swiftly cease any further bombings. Keep Them All Out

These Islamic extremists won't stop until everything is destroyed and everyone is killed. Violence just begets more violence. I wish they could see what a terrible image this gives Islam in the world, and they do their own cause great injustice.
