No you can't be arrested. Contact the seller though and let them know.

Arrested?? There are no eBay "police".
Read eBay's policies for non-payment. Regardless of whether you meant to Buy Now or not, by clicking that button you are making an agreement to pay for and receive the item. If you do not hold up your end of this deal the seller will report you as a non-paying bidder. eBay can respond by cancelling your account.

You can't be arrested. It's a civil matter, not a criminal one.

You will probably get negative feedback. I'm not sure what else Ebay does for non-paying bidders. You can look in ebay's policies and help sections to find out more.

did you contact the seller after you "accidentally" hit the button? you have to go thru a few steps to confirm you are buying something. sounds like you are now deciding you don't want to buy the item you were bought.

Arrested? No

Sued for breach of contract? Yes

But you will probably be ok as there is another verification screen after you hit "buy it now" to ensure you didn't hit it by accident

You will get a unpaid item strike and people will be less likely to sell to you.
