Video cameras everywhere. Speed of cars being checked remotely. License plates being read by optical sensors on police cars.
Technology is a good thing, but this is getting out of hand

Let's put it this way...Would you rather have someone checking your conversation for a possible terrorist plot or just wait until a militant rolls up with a baby carriage filled with explosives as you stand in front of "The Gucci Shops" in the mall? This is for your own safety! Maybe you are worried that someone will catch you saying naughty things to one of the girls on "HOTBABES". I suppose airport screening should be done away with also?
