I'm a Virgo (September), and I just realized that five of my closest friends are all celebrating birthdays in July: 10, 19, 21, 22, and 28. Is there any astrological reason behind this? I usually don't fall for horoscopes, but I thought there might be some reasoning somewhere that could help me.

Naw, no hidden meaning...just the way it worked out. We've got a lot of people here at work with birthdays this month, moreso than usual.
Figure 9 months prior to July it was October so maybe folks are extra frisky in the Fall when the air turns crisp and cool. ☺

I have this same problem...im a virgo and it seems like everybody that is close to me are also borned in the month of july...i think its just weird!!

I don't believe in horoscopes either, but i'm going out on a limb I know people will ridicule.
They just all happen to be Thanksgiving babies.

It's because of the holiday season, people do it more around Thanksgiving and Xmas. After all, ;tis the season to be jolly.

i think its just a coincidence...all there parents concieved at the same time..nothing unusual
