I always thought this country was the home of the brave and courageous, but most americans these days seem to be very very scared of own shadows.

All Americans love peace and will go out of their way to keep it. But when we are against the wall, there is no nation or country as strong willed or dedicated to battle than America. This has been shown in it's past history over and over again. And I believe it will be shown over and over in it's future. All it takes is for us to be pushed too far!

I do not see very many frightened people.

I do see a large number of people who are very concerned about terrorism throughout the world from Radical Islamists and are rather perplexed about the best response to that terrorism

The majority of terrorism in the world is funded by the Ayatollahs and Mullahs who have hijacked Iran.

The oil revenues that Iran receives provide a giant slush fund for the Ayatollahs and Mullahs to use to bankroll terrorism throughout the world.

Iran receives over 80% of its income from oil exports.

A blockade of Iranian ports would bankrupt that country very quickly and would remove the source of the funds that the Ayatollahs and Mullahs use to bankroll terorism.

A blockade of Iranian ports is a nonviolent way for us to eliminate most of the funding and hence most of the terrorism that we see in the world today.

I recommend that we blockade Iranian ports immediately.

Alot of us forget what it took to make this country, and the struggles it went through..... we've been sheltered and protected, and expect things to stay as free as they are now...... we let the government and those who volunteer to join the army fight and protect us so we can go abouts our everyday business.......

and then when something bad does happen, we dont know how to handle it, its a shock, and we get afraid because we never thought it could/would happen.....

people can so easily take the u.s. for granted...... i'm not saying everyone, i'm just saying alot.......

I agree

Nobody ever knows what will happen when they are actually in the face of danger, this is true, but I have a pretty good idea in store if someone tries to grab my purse, and crying isn't part of it. But who knows. If it actually happened to me, who knows what I will do. When I play it out in my mind, I'm a hero though

LOL

You must live in a different America from mine. BTW, try to stick to just one tense when structuring a sentence. This helps a bit with credability.
