a friend is the person who will bail you out of jail if needed, but a best friend is the person sitting next to you saying "that was friggin awsome" haha :)

someone that knows when something is wrong with you without you having to say anything and knows what to do to make you laugh again.
someone who will always be honest with you but cares enough not to hurt your feelings
someone who will stick by you even during the bad times.
someone who will not stand for someone else talking about you and will stop them the second they try.

Someone who will not neglect you for a stupid man (or chick), and will not try to mold you into a person you don't want to be. Someone who will not try to wreck your life. Someone you will stick with you through thick and thin.
