Heck yes.....I live in the country. If these 'streets' have names only the locals would know what they've been called for the past few generations. So being from here for a long blood line.....we can get around and give each other directions and do fine. But let some 'otherfolk' come....you're lost babe....or you have to ask for directions....and we smile and accomodate....and then we know who you are, where you're going, and why. Does life still exist like this? Of course. We're not as dumb as you'all like to think. We have very little crime and I can walk anywhere at night...and we live in the country and we like it that way. Outsiders welcome...'long as you keep your manners. Ya' all come out 'en see!

Just about everywhere in New Jersey doesn't have street signs, therefore the streets don't have names.

actually, yes. there is no name on my street. its only on paper at city hall and maps. i like it, it is quiet and the tehachapis are right outside my patio door. its empty now, i dont live there any more, but stay there when down that way.
no name or street sign last time i looked.

Dude, I live there! Y'all city folk with your fancy Onstar and GPS couldn't find my place if you tried. You have to stop and ask direction. If your coming over for my annual redneck Olympics(beer, horseshoes, beer, washers, beer, hillbilly golf, beer, skinny dippin, beer, cherry seed spittin, beer), don't ask old man willy's kid. Since he was kicked by the mule he ain't right in the head.
