can anyone tell me the correct order in which to read the harry potter novels

1. Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone (Philospher's stone is the original title but is now the British version title)
2. Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets
3. Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban (not positive on spelling)
4. Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire
5. Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix
6. Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince
7. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows (comes out on the 21st)
This is the ideal order you should read them but it's up to you to decide whether or not you want to read them in increasing order of the years; the way they were published. Hope this helps!
But if you want to read them by way of the mirror image theory of the books, you should start with the fourth one, then read the third, then the fifth, then the second, then the sixth, then the first and finally the seventh.
In case you don't know, the mirror image theory for the books is that the books are mirror images of each other (duh) and since the fourth book is nothing like the any of the others with the triwizard tourenment, it starts with this one. Then in the third one, you met Sirius and in the fifth one, something bad happens in him (I won't say in case some people, including yourself, haven't read it yet). In the second one, you really see Voldemort ( or the past version of him) for the first time and Harry believes he is back and in the sixth one, everyone believes he is back. Hope this helps!
