It's going to be a tough road if they do. Yes, I am a Denver fan, but I am also looking at the reality of the situation. I think Denver's revamped defense can handle the unstable quarterbacking situations in Kansas City and Oakland, but San Diego is an absolute powerhouse on both sides of the ball, and I think of all the new head coaches Turner inherited the most talent. Therefore, the Chargers represent the first and most serious threat to Denver's post season hopes. I think Denver is going to make the playoffs this year, but even then they have to contend with the likes of New England, Indianapolis, Baltimore, Cincinnati, and probably the Chargers again (these six teams are my playoff picks). Will Denver win the Super Bowl? If everything falls into place and they play great, there's nothing that can stop them!
By the way, I strongly disagree with Fiction up there who says the Browns will go to the Super Bowl. I think they are a better team with a better O-line, but there are too many question marks. Brady Quinn is not the starter heading into training camp, and will Jamal Lewis ever return to form? Also, look at their division: Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Cincinnati, all of whom have made the playoffs at least once in the past three years.

As a diehard Broncos fan, I'm clearly biased... I think the Broncos will end up 10-6, winning today in KC, losing to Carolina, and beating the Bills and Chargers... They'll be the 4th seed in the playoff, and will host the Colts in the playoffs... That will be a very interesting game because both teams are ridiculously inconsistent... However, the Broncos tend to play up to their opponents and eventually outplay them, so they do have a decent chance to win that game... Of course, if they win that game, they'd play either Pittsburgh or Tennessee the next round, and would be VERY hard-pressed to win that game... And if they happened to pull that out, would play IMO the Giants, and would be even more of underdogs... So they'll most likely make the playoffs (I've been a Broncos fan long enough to know that if anyone was going to blow this lead, it'd be us) and have probly a 1/3 chance to win in the first round... and then we're boned...

Highly doubtful! They should have a good season though and will probably be #2 in the division behind the Chargers. Travis Henry should have a pretty good season, since he the most talented back the Broncos have had in a few years and the Broncos are a 1,000 yard back factory. I think Henry could end around 1,500 yards. Cutler should play pretty smart though he will likely struggle in his first year as the starter.
They just aren't going to be a good enough team to beat some of the AFC powerhouses like the Chargers, Colts, and Patriots when it comes down to the wire.

Denver will have a good defense, but so do some other teams in the AFC (Baltimore, Patriots, Chargers). Travis Henry is a malcontent who will find out very quickly that he still doesn't like splitting time at the RB position (he had that problem in Buffalo). Biggest thing that will keep them out of the Super Bowl will be Cutler and his sophomore slump.

I have the Broncos at #3 in the AFC...which still puts them ahead of any NFC team in my power poll. (BTW, Chargers would be #3, but no one wins anything with Norv Turner as coach).
If Denver stays healthy, Cutler matures as they like, and the Colts & Pats fall prey to injury...or at least beat each other silly...it is not that far out of the realm of possibility.
