It cancels the listing for the person who died, Any other persons named on the listing are still bound to the contract. If there is only ONE person on the listing contract and that person dies, then the contract is null and void.

I agree with athiest girl. It will depend on your state.

Utah is not a community property state, so they dont care who signs. Whatever state you are in call the Division of Real Estate for your state.

Just google this *division of real estate (enter your state)*. Call them and ask. You dont have to call your real estate agent. I think it will be different if every state.
