Just because they look different they must be treated differently? WHat kind of mentality is that? Shallow.

Because often it is normal to them. Look in the mirror. You probably see someone looking back who you would describe as "normal". Well, that is what many with lots of piercings see when they look in the mirror.
Why do you treat them differently anyway? How can you judge a man's or indeed, a woman's character by a few piercings?
There are a lot of people who look like "normal" citizens who I would not trust to wipe the dirt from my shoes but I would trust the majority of people I've met with piercings - this is not to say that people with piercings are of good character necessarily but the point is not to judge by what you see and project your own view of the world onto others.
Interesting, huh?
Oh, and you are NOT a true gentlemen but the exact opposite. A true gentlemen would have the grace not to judge a book by it's cover and not treat others differently based upon his own standards. Your standards, my friend, appear to be quite low.

Dude,
I'm sorry, but if tomorrow I decide to where an orange woolly hat, why should I be treated differently? Doesn't everybody wish to look different?
Its called being unique! To be honest, I hate piercings and tattoos but that doesn't mean I will treat somebody different if they have one!
If that's your attitude, then I think your a little shallow and stubborn!
What kind of person judges somebody on the way they look? Not a very nice one!
GROW UP!

In what way do they deserve to be treated "differently"? Would you discriminate against someone because you don't like their choice of earrings or the dress they happen to be wearing? I think you'll find that not everyone who has a facial piercing is a baby-eating monster and plenty of perfectly respectable looking poeple are actually total psychos.

Why *should* they be treated differently? Who cares if they have a piercing.

I wouldn't say they get different treatment, they're just more liable to be stared and laughed at; in room with 10 people who look normal and 1 person who looks weird, who are you most likely to look at?

A great question, there are a few of those today, a star for you.
Taking a guess, I would say they want to show their individuality and not that they are rebelious. So When they are treated differently, it bugs them.

Ignorance!
Leviticus 19:28
Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 21:5
They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
Leviticus 21:4-9 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
4But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
8Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
9And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
