I've been a clone for about 6 years now, and I get the show, I like it, and I have been listening long enough to get most of the jokes and references to the old shows. However, Jim NEVER fully explains what or who he is immitating when he does that voice and says things like "It's your show, take it over!!" and "show me your lightning bolt!!" If you are a clone, you have heard this. Jim says that it is a "shout out to the old school clones in SoCal." At least once, I would like to hear who or what he is immitating. He also never explains why he pronounes Duke's basketball coach's last name like
<> when everybody else in the world says it like <> Are there any old school jungle legends or clones out there that can explain these?

Sincerely,
Bill in Syracuse

Actually I am "Rick in Massillon, OH"

war: me getting a manual buzzer for actually typing all this on here!!

I know I won't have the best answer, because I'm more of a casual listener and I don't get a lot of that inside stuff either. What I do know after having listened to the show for almost 10 years is the old schoolers came way before I started listening. Old schoolers go back to the days when he was just starting to syndicate or earlier.
