I suffer from TERRIBLE cramps. My doctor wants me to have a laproscopy to deturmine if I have endometriosis, however, Im willing to try a more natural alternative to healing myself first, before undergoing ANY KIND OF SURGERY!!! I've read about hollistic medicines and how western medicines have really focused on how to make money and less on how to heal. So Im curious as to what I can do for myself without prescriptions or surgeries. Thanks, angie

The best way to find if there is a naturopathic doctor is to visit the website www.naturopathic.org. This website will give you a listing of the naturopathic physicians in your area. The naturopathic physicians will run blood test to get a baseline reading in order to assess the best way to address your health problems. You might also look at your diet and try to eliminate caffeine, chocolate. You should make that you ar drinking water plenty of water. I know many of us girls try to avoid water because we believe that it actually leads to water retention. This is a common misconception. However, if you are drinking at least half of your body weight in ounces, you are actually riding your body of impurities.

Hi,
I think that stress plays a big part in bringing endometriosis on. This would more often than not be accumulated stress. That is stress from a variety of areas from your life or for a prolonged period of time. Stress can be mental, physical, environmental, chemical etc. Take a look at how you can reduce each of these in your life. I love that natural therapies try to teach you what's happening and understand how you can help heal yourself. So diet is a biggy, taking time to relax and unwind, minimising the stress from your lifestyle, this could even invlove reducing how much time you spend with people who stress you out. Diet will be one of the most simple things you can improve immediately.
Ask around and see a naturopath that is highly recommended. I also think that alternative medicine is awesome and the way of the future, however getting there..still has while to go. I would use alternate medicine in conjunction with laproscopy. Find out what's wrong and that will also help you find what natural cures are best for you. Sometimes things have gone too far and surgery is necessary. Overall slow down and look after yourself is usually the main thing in alternative medicine.
We are human being not human doings.

While agree with many that western meds is focused on money. I would still recommend you letting your doctor TEST you for endometriosis. Once you have the diagnosis THEN try herbal medicine. I don't know if you have children or not but if you don't then endometriosis can keep you from having children as well as many other complications. You need an accurate diagnosis before you go treating yourself. I am a firm believer in Herbal medicine and if you don't already know it MOST of Western Meds come from a derivative of an herb. This is just my opinion and keep in mind the only thing I'm thinking of is your safety. Good Luck to you.

I have tried it all. If you don't want medication or surgery, the only things that worked, even a little, for me are a heating pad and gentle stretching exercises.

A laproscopy is the only way to determine if you have endometriosis. Although you don't want surgery, I wouldn't recommend taking medication, even a natural one, for something you don't know you have.

If the doctor is just doing a diagnostic laproscopy, it should be a minor surgery. You should only have two tiny little incision - one in your belly button and one at your bikini line. You will be sore for a few days, but you should be back to your normal routine with in a week or two max. Recovery really isn't that bad.

Hi, If I were you I would get in touch with a naturopath or someone who specializes in women's issues. Before going through any invasive treatments, especially to just determine IF you have endometriosis is not something to be taken lightly. Also, if you find out you do have endometriosis there are ALOT of alternative ways to treat it. I'm a holistic health counselor and work with alot of people who are in search of alternative treatments- there is a great need for this way of doing things as conventional treatments are becoming more and more unsafe and not even working half the time. Good luck!

Then seek for scientific care. God is a appealing element and a great source of capability, yet there are some issues that faith on my own won't be able to do. faith on my own won't be able to practice you ideas for finding out to purchase for the period of the day, for dealing with concern and anger in helpful, helpful techniques, for assisting you to settle for the wear and tear and do effective issues with it. I understand there will be people who will inform you to hunt for convenience interior the Bible, and all that, yet you prefer greater help than merely particularly some Bible verses quoted at you. Therapists exist because of the fact human beings prefer them and because they fill a void that different kinds of help won't have the capacity to handle. I even have by no skill been raped, yet certainly one of my maximum suitable acquaintances has. She is a Christian, yet to on the present time, she sees a psychiatrist, and her wellbeing practitioner has helped her lots. there is not any shame in searching for guidance from a psychiatrist or psychologist. stable luck! i wish which you will get the assist you to prefer and that your loved ones and church kin would be supportive. And if the church kin isn't supportive--seek for a different congregation. i'm severe approximately that. *Hugs*
