OK, so I asked a question, and I asked it with ALL CAPS, and it wouldn't let me post it! Heres what it said in read lettering:
Please do not use ALL CAPS. Its rude.

ITS RUDE?! What? Isn't that lame? Try asking a question in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, and see what it says.

I've seen that before, it always makes me laugh because I can picture some old lady squaking, "It's rude!"

Who came up with the idea that typing in all CAPS means that you're YELLING??? And who made that a standard rule?

I don't believe that TYPING IN ALL CAPS means that you are yelling... rather, I believe that it means that you want to get people's attention to whatever you're writing. Especially when there are so many other comments.

Yelling would be putting an exclamation mark at the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes using caps is requested by readers, because of their poor eye sight. However, on the other hand, some ppl say using caps is yelling...so where does one draw the line when it comes to using all caps?

Personally, it doesn't bother me either way.

In computer speak asking a question in caps means you're yelling. Yelling is rude. But to answer your question, that's lame. What if you CAPS and shift keys were stuck?

I wouldn't call it rude, but it's annoying. It's like hanging the shiny object in front of the chimp, do people have that little reguard for the intellegence of others that they trust a few capital letters to bring more attention to their questions?

All caps is supposed to be like yelling at someone. I haven't come across a message board that wouldn't let you use them though. That is odd.

Totally! the retards!! Yeah! I freakin' got that answer too! I asked 'Are you on the blonde's side or brunetts?' in all caps, and they were like, " do not post in all caps. It is rude.' Nerds.

I'll resist the urge to capitalize on your lame question.

The YA team says not to use caps that it is considered yelling in a forum format.

That's lame. Next time just have one or two letter in lower case to offset it.
