Probably not. The one example, the punter for Colorado, was constantly putting up with crap from her teamates, until she finally quit, after she got raped by one of the few guys on the team she thought was her friend. The violent nature of the game makes it difficult. Even in men could accept a female in the sport, what male could possibly be ok with hitting and tackling a female? Gender bias prevents it really. Same reason why women aren't allowed in the front lines of combat. It has been found men are more traumatized when seeing a female die, and will often endanger themselves more to rescue a woman than a man. Football would be the same way. Besides, most positions of football require an individual to take a tremendous beating and be of an appropriate size, weight and muscle mass, and very women can meet those standards. The only time i've ever heard of it is the jets centers', Nick Hardwick, sister. She is offensive guard on her high school football team, but even her chances of playing in college are slim. So, in short, no, nor do they belong there. Whether we like to accept it or not, there are things men can do that women can't/shouldn't, just as there are things that women can do that men can't/shouldn't

Women can play in college football but typically cannot compete with the male athletes. There is nothing chauvinistic about this, it is a fact. Furthermore, women on the playing field would create an unfair disadvantage to the opposition because men, in general, will have some reservations about hitting a woman with the same force as they would another man. They would tend to lay off somewhat, at least I would.
But look at the bright side. Women make for MUCH better cheerleaders then men, and that is a fact!

Women have genuine physical advantages over men in some areas. Women generally tolerate pain better than men (a built in mechanism to cope with the pain of childbirth). Women also have been found to have much greater endurance than men. In ultra long distance foot races (up to 100 miles or more), all the top competitors are women.
Men, however, have distinct advantages when it comes to short bursts of speed and overall physical strength, not to mention size. For example, world class female sprinters are only as fast as average male sprinters. An EXCEPTIONAL (and big) female athlete may be able to play at the major college level, but it's no place for an average woman. Keep in mind that this is a sport that has maimed 300 lb men!

Unfortunately there is not a women's college football program anywhere in the world. Until such a league or team exists, women's football will remain a club sport as it is in the IWFL, NWFA and WPFL right now. If it were a level playing field (no steroids) women would have chance at positions other than kicker in men's programs. Unfortunately we are not asking women to compete with men, we are asking if they can compete with men on steroids.

yes!!! all around yes! i played football in highschool. i played football while growing up period. me and my 2 best friends played everyday practically. and any of the guys we played with would kill for us to be on there team. because they knew we had skills. and even to this day me and my friends go out and play football. yes tackle not 2 hand touch.
anyways, so yes you can. but alot of places will have a women be a kicker because of liability reasons. as of right now i dont know of a women who plays an actual position but think you can look up the womens professional football team. and thats were u can probably find real women playing real football!
it's call WPFL. hope this helped

Only as a kicker. And even then, it's unlikely that there wouldn't be a guy who can out-kick her. Sure, there have been a couple but they were hardly all-star caliber. All things being equal, men are bigger, stronger and faster. That's not sexist, that's a fact of life.
(this is assuming you mean for the men's team)

Technically yes. Realistically, no. Lots of people like to pretend that men and women are equal, these people are retarded. There are some things that women just can't do when compared to men. Running, jumping, throwing, kicking, tackling, are just a few of them.
