Lincoln, like bush faced most of the same criticisms. war is hard and we value human life. the cliche 'freedom is not free' needs to be a reminder to us all that our founding fathers were well aware of this.

i fear with all the hate mongering from both sides, we are on a self destructive path that if not corrected, will surely lead to our downfall.

it would be a miracle if partisanship could be put aside to unite in at least the effort to defeat the radical Islamic.

Lincoln's great quote ' a house divided, cannot stand' is applicable as much today as it was then.

As long as continue down the road of partisan bickering at the expense of logic or reason, then yes......

Out govt (both dominant parties) are doing more to destroy this country than any terrorist ever could.

How we expect other countries to learn peaceful coexistence, when we cannot even practice it ourselves, is a mystery.
