I don't think controlling the borders would help to prevent this kind of illegal buisness. Those people who deal and manage human trafficking, they plan everything smartly, first when they get the people from different countries, they represent themeselves as a modeling company, educational agencies, anything you can imagine in order to trap the victims, innocent people, mostly young girls, even the guys. Those innocent people don't realize that they are under danger untill they reach the destination, for Example USA. So, earlier when they came to participate in castings or competitions they give their identification documents, passports to the human traffickers if they pass the castings. Cosequently, there would be no problem at the airport and they arrive USA.
I think young people have to be really cautious and study, research before engaging with any kind of agincies. Securing borders would be another key to stop the human traffickers. Especially, controling ports, sea borders, most of the trafickers use boats, ships, in order to transport people, kids.

"human trafficking" is a polite term for buying and selling human beings--in other words, slavery.

Currently, the developed nations (US, Europe, etc) are making little effort to stop this obscenity. In fact, everyone is still lining up to do business with the biggest offender--China.

But its not just them. In both Europe and the US, this is a going criminal trade. Much--but not all, by any means--is to get and control slaves for prostitution.

But of course-the right wing in the US and elsewhere blames the victims--which is no surprise. They are the ones making money off of this--as well as patronizing it. That's been true all through history--its no different now than it was in the Carribbean during the colonial era or the US in the pre-civil war South--its the conservatives who use slaves for labor and sex.

It is slavery in the context of the programme.
Slavery has gone on since one man belted another with his club an d then used him ti till his fields or do the jobs the capror did not want to do. It's not right and I think the government and ourselves should make it unprofitable in any way we can to itrradicate it. This includes foreign diplomats who keep slaves in London. i think they are often called nieces or nephews, some may actually be genuine

The simple way is to police your borders and apply more vigiourously your nations' laws on immigration.

That way the Mexicans and other crims can't keep peddling hookers and children as sex workers from the South.
Better policing of existing visa systems would allow investigation into fraudulent visas- thus reducing to negligible levels females trafficked via semi-legal means.

Human trafficking is a crime in the United States, typically prostitution, generally there is a person in this process called a "Pimp". The pimp is basically the employer of prostitutes, in exchange for being the employer of the prostitues, he/she picks up part of their payment for their services on clients. He/she will also provide protection to their prostitues, should another pimp decide to try and take that protitute, the pimp may also hurt the prostitute, should they try and leave him/her. This is a pretty basic rundown of human trafficking. It can be women, children, and men.

"Human trafficking" is to completely dominate, own and control the victim, or make it difficult to distinguish between his or her true self and the identity created through exploitation. For instance, selling people to other countries for the purposes of slavery or prostitution.
