OK, I'm going to Six Flags in Atlanta this weekend. The bad thing is that I'm about to start my period. I know that when you take a bag or something into Six Flags that they check it, and I don't want to put tampons in there and have them check it... that would be embarrassing. I guess what I'm asking is, do the bathrooms have tampon machines in them? Or do y'all know of any way I can take tampons in the park without them being out in the open. Sometimes when I wear pants and socks I'll stick them down in my socks, but I planned on wearing shorts because it's gonna be really hot. I know this was dumb, but I just had to ask it anyways. Thanks.

There is literally nothing that you can put in a bag that people who search bags will not have seen a hundred times. Seriously. You wouldn't believe the kinds of things that people regularly carry around with them.

If you are ok with carrying a bag in the park, you can always get a little tampon case and put that in your bag. The park people will check your bag but they wont go threw everything and the tampon case is not as noticeable as a tampon and you can fit 4 to 5 tampons in the case. So they may see the case but they wont look in it and it wont be embarrassing because the tampons are not out in the open. Hope this helps and hope you have fun at six flags this weekend!

You must be really young because THIS does NOT matter. Who cares if there's a tampon in your bag??? Am I wrong or do women in general have, has had or will have her period?
You have to get used to the idea that this is part of being a girl.
Embarrassing would be getting your pants all stained at the park. Put a few in your bag, you need to change these often. Have fun!!

How ironic, I'm going to Six Flags this weekend too (I live in Atlanta). I always stick one in my bra in between my breasts if I have to go someone and want to be discreet. I haven't been in a couple of years but I do know that White Waters has tampon machines in their bathrooms so I'm pretty sure Six Flags would too since their both from the same affiliation. Have fun! Do they pour out the bag to check it??? I don't see what the embarrassment is about really. Everyone gets a period once you are a woman. Embarrassing would be if u were carrying a dirty tampon in your bag. So you should start acting like a woman and stop getting embarrassed for something that everyone experience from time to time. That 's just my opinion.

honestly, you shouldn't be embarrassed about that at all. Pretty much every woman has those things in her purse. Those ppl that check bags are doing that all day so I doubt they would even care. Also, I don't even think they really check that well. They basically open the purse, look in and give it back. They don't dig around in there. If you're that worried, put the tampons in a pencil case in your purse. They won't go that far to open up a pencil case. They're looking for guns and dangerous weapons. Don't worry about it.

They have seen tampons before! And you'll feel better knowing that you have as many as you need and the kind you like! You can always put them in a little make-up bag inside your other bag, but don't worry about the staff at Six Flags, it won't freak them out!

Seriously, the people checking the bags won't even take a second glance at the tampons, that's not what they're looking for. Just put them in your bag, and relax. Do you know how many crazy things they see in women's bags? Really! So don't worry about it. It's something normal and you should just act normal about it. It'll be fine. :) Good luck!

Almost every public restroom has the machines that dispense them. I would take them in a bag personally but if you are embarrassed I am sure they will be available in the restrooms. Spending 50 cent a tampon is kinda steep but completely possible. Bring change!
