I noticed the other day that I have little bumps on my nipple area...The almost look like little pimples but they aren't (I don't think). Should I be concerned or go get this checked out? What could it be??

that's normal. It just means that your breasts haven't stopped growing yet.

I've notices little bumps too on my nipples but they aren't red. I asked my sister (very much into women's health care) and she said that they are the glands that secrete the lubricant/protectant for when women start breast feeding. I paid closer attention to it, and they are really only visible right after my period ends. I don't know why yours are red though. Pay close attention to them for a couple weeks, and as long as you aren't in pain, I would wait it out and see what happens. DON'T put anything on them though, unless a little regular body lotion. Nipples are REALLY sensitive.

Try to observe it. Is it growing? Is it painful? Do you feel some itchiness? If the answer is yes, better see a doctor.

As long as there isn't any pain or discharge, it should be fine. Just ask your doctor the next time you're in for a visit.

it is normal your nipple will have more little bumps on them always. it is just how they are. they get bigger after you get pregnant.
