I am not really trying to get pregnant, but me and my husband also haven't been using protection since we don't care if we get pregnant or not, we only had unprotected sex about 5-6 times in this cycle.
We have a 10 1/2 month old so we're busy busy :D lol
Anyways I had feelings the last 1 1/2 of my cycle that I was going to get my period, and some of those times I could swear that I was going to get it within a few seconds. If your a women you know what I mean, you just know when it's going to start.
It didn't!
And now I'm at day 26 in my cycle. And my cycles range from 24-28 days, and I feel absolutely no feelings like my period is going to start.
My first pregnancy I did feel as if my period would start at any moment and then it didn't as well.
I've taken one pregnancy test (clear blue which you can take 4 days early) and it shows I'm not pregnant.
I don't feel any other symtoms except it's werid for me to have such intense period is going start feelings and it doesn't.

4 days before your period is due any sensitive pregnancy test is only about 69% accurate. Also, if you used the digital pregnancy test then those are not sensitive at all and often take 5+ days after your missed period to be accurate.
If I were you, I'd wait a couple days and see if your period comes, if not, test again. But I do know what you mean about feeling like your period is coming any second and you run to the bathroom and nothing! I've heard a LOT of pregnant women have experienced this....so, you might just be!

I would wait a few days and do another HPT. Your cycle could have been a few days long last time and you're really earlier than you think so the test may not come back positive. If you still get another negative, call your doctor. They can do a blood test to find out exactly what's going on.
I know what you feel about that "here it comes!" feeling and I got it quite a bit when I got pregnant last time. Then again, I got it when I wasn't pregnant, too, but not as intense.

I'm having the exact same symptoms!! The past few days I've really been feeling like my period was going to start at second, but nothing yet. Last month I got a very light period that lasted only 3 days (mostly brownish) on the 11th, my period is typically around the 16 or 17th. Took a test last month, neg. I will be taking another one again soon.

You might want to get a First Response Early Response test to tell for sure, or wait until day 29 of your cycle to test again with one of those nifty digital pregnancy tests.

Anyway it's not how many times you had unprotected sex, it's WHEN. If you had it during your fertile period just once then you could be pregnant. However, unfortunately pg symptoms are close to menstrual symptoms, so it's hard to tell.

While I haven't had a baby, I have experienced those "intense" feelings before, and had them be false alarms. They usually happen at the wrong time in the cycle, and I fret for a day or two, not knowing what will happen, and then the feeling passes, and my cycle continues as normal. I don't know what the deal is, but its probably the hormone levels fluctuating oddly. With a child already, you are certain to be busy, and maybe a little stressed at times, which can make your hormones fluctuate... Sometimes I think women got a bum deal on the hormone situation, but at least we have logical minds to deal with it! :-)

you could be, just wait, in a few days or a week you will have your answer.

I know that it sucks but a week really isn't that long. Just remember what you were doing on this day last week. See... not that long ago was it?

If you are a very on-the-go person and have some stress and worry in your little life, you can stop your period.

Call your doctor, follow his advice and do not worry.
