I am a web producer at a newspaper and I am wondering if I can bring my fonts from home and use them here (legally).

Some of them are only available for purchase.

I know it can physically be done, but will I put the newspaper at risk for copyright infringement or something?

Yes, you purchased them.

Technically, you should take them OFF of your home computer when you do this because you only purchased them for one computer.

I would stay away from curly ornate fonts (like the Harry Potter font) because they are too recognizeable and call too much attention to the issue.

Something to watch out for: Fonts do not show up on websites... you will need to save your text as images to get the fonts to show correctly... problem is... images are not "searchable" as text on Google or Ask or Yahoo.

It depends on the license agreement for those fonts.
