me and my hubby made up,and had sex, we stopped half way threw so i could talk my underwear off, there was red blood, and it was on him too, so i went straight to the bath room, nothing came out while i peed, but on the TP there was lightblood. i called my obgyn asap, my next appt was suppose to be monday, but they are taking me tomorrow as the first appt, they told me to stay off my feet, stay calm, and they aslo said if i was loosing the baby it would be a constant flow, she told me since there was no more red blood i should be ok..
im not in pain or anything,
is my baby ok? will i go threw to have a normal pregnancy?

Here is my experience, I hope that it helps! I spotted at 5weeks, then 3 times more.... The last time was 16 weeks and it was a good proper bleed!! Each time I flipped out! I had no cramping or pain, my cervix was closed... All of my blood levels normal and each time baby was ok with heartbeat. The ER docs tried to figure it out to no avail... My OB did all kinds of tests and ultrasounds only to come up with the conclusion that all was well. She explained it just may be "sloughing" or, nothing at all. Unless you have painful cramps, heavy bleeding (enough to fill a pad in an hour), bleeding with blood clots or bleeding with a fever, I would try not to worry. Some women just spot during early pregnancy! If you have any of the above symptoms go to the ER immediately! I know it's hard but any time I stressed about it, it just got worse! The only thing my OB told me not to do was have sex until 12 weeks. After that when I bled at 16 weeks, I was told not to have sex for 3 weeks. Other then that, just try to take it easy! Also, you can take a pregnancy test! If it's still positive it will ease your mind in a big way!
Very Best Wishes!

you didn't say how far you are but I will assum that you are not that far. Some spotting like that is normal in the first month. The doctor may get a blood test to make sure your levels are rising or check to make sure your cervix is closed. Also, I would say rest for a month. Try not to do any thing you don't have to. If you don't have any kind of blood in the next couple of weeks then you will most likely be fine. You will know if you have a miscarriage. You will have bleeding more than a period, pain or cramping more than a period. Good luck and hope everything works out for you!

Spotting as they call it does happen sometimes, especially after sex. Try to be more gentle when doin it, unless your Dr told you to refrain from it. Then dont do it. I know I had some mild spotting up untill my 3rd month in all of my pregnancies. Actually the last ultrasound I had my Dr told me that he saw some blood around the edges and that I should expect some spotting. Sure enough 5 days later I had just enough to go buy some panty liners, then it stopped. And everything is great. So make your Dr aware, its good that you called.
Yes, I am sure that you will still have a normal pregnancy and that your baby will be healthy. Dont super stress about it, that can make your anxioty level make things seem super worse!
If anything maybe you can get a little help around the house from hubby!

I don't know how far you are along.
But, when I was pregnant with my daughter, around 24 weeks I had some bright red blood then a bit of darker tissue. Freaked me out, called my Doctor. This was around 11 at night. Well they sent me in for a quick Ultrasound, and everything was fine. She is now almost 2 and half. and I am 24 weeks pregnant again.
Sometimes you cervix gets bumped, or something. During pregnancy it is very sensitive, and can bleed.
Try your best to stay calm. There is still a good chance that you are fine, sense you do not have any pain, or tons of bleeding. Stress can also be bad for your baby!

There are alot of people who bleed a lil after having sex. If the blood is followed by cramps then I would go to the hospital not wait on the doctor. I am 39 weeks pregnant about half way through i started to bleed but everything was ok. I didnt have any cramps though. But during my first pregnancy i had cramps and ended up with a miscarriage. I wish you the best of luck!!

The same thing happened to me at 10 weeks, 1 day. Try to remain calm just like the doctor told you. You may have the light red or pink blood for a few hours and you may even have a small clot or two.
The clot is nothing to worry about unless it is larger than a quarter. You're uterus is growing larger and larger and has a lot more blood flow making it more sensitive.
I went to my doctor when the happened and during my ultrasound I saw our baby waving and bouncing around with a strong heartbeat. I told my husband no more sex for a while!
Just take it easy and you will be just fine

Im pretty sure if you were going to lose the baby there would be alot of blood. I think it is somewhat normal to bleed during or after sex when you are pregnant because some of the cells that are normally on the inside of your cervix are kinda on the outside of the cervix during pregnancy. these cells are very sensitive and tender, so any jostling will make them burst or bleed. Definately do as your doctor said, but please relax. If there is no cramping of any sort or no actual flow of blood, you should be fine, just scared. I hope evrything turns out okay!

Is the baby still moving? If so you're fine. I bleed a lot with my first pregnancy. Oh, and intercourse causes bleeding too. It did with me. Don't worry about it too much it will drive you crazy. My daughter was born a 9 out of 10 on the health scale. You'll be ok. Good luck!
Mother of 2 and #3 on the way.

Listen to your docs advice and just try to relax and get rest. I know that will be hard to do but it is what is best. In my 4th pregnancy I had alot of bleeding early on and everything ended up being ok. If you start bleeding heavily make sure you call your doc back! unfortunately if you are going to have a miscarriage there isn't really anything they can do.
Good luck!

How far along are you? When I was only 7 weeks I started bleeding heavy, but by the time they admitted me to the ER it stopped. They kept me there for awhile, did and Ultra Sound, and everything turned out okay in the end. They said it was a threatened Miscarriage and to stay in bed for a week. I had my healthy son at 38 weeks.
