Hey Jude actually wasnt on any of their studio albums, I know it is on Anthology 3..and was also released as a single

The Beatles recorded Hey Jude as a single but can recently be found on The Beatles 1 album. The album also has many other Beatles hits.

The Hey Jude LP was a US-only release in 1970 featuring previously-released singles unavailable on other US records. It was originally titled Beatles Again but was changed, however, the first printing of the album features that title on the record. Although not available on CD, most of these songs can be found on the 1988 release Past Masters Volume 2.
