If you are or were a cook of any kind, what's the dish you absolutely hated to make at work?
Mine was filet mignon.

I hate making breakfast. Period. Especially pancakes and eggs. Even after years of practice, both still come out looking like someone threw them against a wall. I think it's because I'm too cranky in the morning and too stressed to take my time. There a billion other things to do to prep for lunch and I just can't focus! My regulars now order "The Mess" and I know exactly what they want! I'm told they taste good, just look bad! Oh, well!!! P.S. I like my filet cold in the middle! As long as it's dead, I'll eat it. LOL :)

Back when I cooked on the line (damn, I miss those times - not enough to go back to it, but...) I used to hate any kind of time-consuming special order during a busy service. When it was slow I didnt mind.

I was a lunch lady and I hated cooking chicken and noodles. It was a messy menu to do for 1100 kids.
