I went to speak to my next door neighbour, and upon walking up to him, I only went n tripped in a hole in the lawn n went flat on my face, he did;nt laugh but i felt so small, my partner said it will b forgotten soon, but all my neighbours saw n they all laughed. i tried to brush it off by saying "at least now u can tell ur wife another woman fell 4 u", but how can I show my face in front of him again without feeling stupid, who else has done something like this

It happened to me once. I used to think I was a hot mama, when I was a little younger. Then as I was leaving a restuarant entrance/ exit (wide entrance, where people inside could see) I fell flat on my face, I didn't even look back. There so many guys around who used to ask me out and I'd say no, so I guess they were laughing. And I'll bet some girls around my age at the time. I was so embarassed, but hey 10 years later and it's almost like it never happened. Quite frankly I don't care what anyone thinks of me, it's not your fault you fell.

Learn to laugh at your self and hope that is the worst it gets in your life time. I got a brown stain on my white jeans one time and guess where it was. That was bad enough but then I was called to go to the black board.

Well, it will be a good thing for them to laugh at when they have nothingelse to do, or entertaining their friends if they have nothingelse to say to them...
As for you, it'll be one of your worst moments, until something else happen!
Listen babe, we've all had our share of most embarassing moments. Sometimes, we end up laughing at them and even sharing them with our friends.
Also, well done, it was a good repartee!
So, chin up. Give it a few....weeks, and you'll get over it.xxxxxx

It will pass. By the way, that is a good way to handle it by saying another woman fell for him. That is really witty and cute.

TRUST ME, it's happend 2 me and people 4get and move on. In school people thought it was fun 2 hit me(not hard or anything but like like a light punch) and when school ended they stoped.(mostly because i haven't seen them since school ended.(But that's besides the point. If you laugh with yourself and others people will 4get.
