I hate those damn theives. I think that's the only reason they ever come over is for the CD collection.

I had this problem too, til I started burning copies and leaving the originals at home..
Nirvana- From The Muddy Banks... 3 times
NiN- The Downward Spiral (4x) and Pretty Hate Maching (2x)
Pantera- Cowboys from Hell (3x)
Now the cd's are good but while I was living with a friend, people would break into her apartment and now a bunch of my DVDs are missing! :(

I bought 3 different versions of dark side of the moon for extras like documentaries and surround sound and other things
the only album "stolen" from me was sgt. pepper but really the person borrowed it and never returned it yet

I've never had to replace CD's.
You need to tell your friends/family that your CD's are off-limits until they can learn to return things.
