i think it is a concept that bears consideration. George UU Bush says it is made up of losers. like any org, i am sure it has it's share but at least they are trying to take some positive actions to correct what every one seems to be ranting about.
i tend to give little creditability to the 'whiners' who just complain and never put forth any possible solutions. i bet a great majority of them do not even bother to vote.
it is too sad when more ppl vote for the American Idol than vote in the presidential elections.
constructive criticism is useful, hateful whining is not but i guess it makes them feel better.

I don't think they have much chance of winning, but I think people should look into http://www.unity08.com if they are unhappy with the Democrat and Republican choices. I wonder if Bloomberg has his eyes set on that nomination.
Unity 08 may help insure that the next President is elected by far less than a majority as Perot did in 92. It won't be their fault though; there should be run-off elections.

forget liberals and conservatives.
moderates and independants can use unity 08 to nominate Colin Powell or Michael Bloomberg. The goal is to get a nomination on every state ballot. I wonder how Colin Powell would do going up against Fred Thompson and Hillary Clinton. I think he'd win.

Wishful thinking at best.
Until Republicans (and Democrats to a lesser degree) stop attacking their political rivals with hate speech, there will be no reconciliation between the two sides. Politics got real ugly when the Republicans took the majority in the nineties, and they haven't been the same since.

I don't think there can be a happy medium. One wants to go towards socialism the other wants to go the opposite direction. Neither can compromise because it is contrary to their core beliefs.

There are multiple other parties with new candidates, this is just reorganizing the same old candidates into new packages.

Doubtful. We're at a moral and societal crossroads and on certain issues, there is no room for compromise.
