Well me and my bff went in the woods and felt as if a bad thing was about to happen. Then we keep seeing in the corner of our eyes cats and squirrels (my friend is cat i am squirrel)! Is that Bad?

Your animal totems protected you from a wolverine attack.

You must burn three boiled eggs and twelve walnuts (without the shell of course, duh!!) as an offering or they will be offended and will not protect you anymore.

Belief in any symbol/ totem can be helpful. If you were "seeing" your respective spirit animals but they weren't physically there, I would guess it was meant to add emphasis to this bad feeling you two had. And this is definitely not zoological.

Totems or any object will 'protect' only if you believe in it.
Mind suggestion with total belief in it, works for everyone.

What's an animal totem?

That whole "if you believe it it'll happen" is sooooooo false. I "believed" I'd pass my math test and...well it didn't turn out so well. Believing in G-d is really the best. He can help you no matter what.

But where are the totems? Your question is not clear and it doesn't belong to zoology.

If you believe that something will protect you, generally it will. Best is to believe in God.
