why is my diplay colours settings not changing? It stays in 16 even when i restat my computer. When i startup the window logo is in colour (not the best colour though) but when it reaches the desktop it's all grey. Why? and what can i do to change it?

Make sure you have the latest video drivers. Either of the system manufacturer's web site, or of the video card manufacturer's site.


Then: Control Panel > Display Properties > Settings tab.

Set the resolution that your want and then the colour quality to 24 bit or 32 bit.

You need to install the driver of your Video card.

incorrect or generic drivers loaded.
go to your graphics card manufacturers website and download the latest drivers

sounds like u may be missing a display driver ... reinstall it ...
