Traci chapman..fast car and revolution are two of her best....Joan armatrading her song "love and affection" is one of the greatest songs ever written!! maybe some Kate bush ..songs like army dreamers,the man with the child in his eye's... Freda payne "band of gold" Eva cassidy's "people get ready".......any thing by Aretha franklin....and if you have never heard it get "pearls a singer" by Elke brooks...

I have been really digging the new SheDaisy CD... It's got "Don't Worry Bout A Thing" and "The Passenger Seat".. Really good songs, and easy and fun to sing to!

get paramore's new album RIOT! its awesome. the lead singer Hayley is a girl and she has an amazing voice. I'm a guy and i listen to their music all the time. sometimes you can cath me singing it too
