I dont want anti-military unpatriotic libs in office. Its one thing to have doubts when voting for military action and express concern over the consequences. Its another thing to have voted for that military action and then try to backpedal and make it all "Bushs war" advocating our defeat during wartime, dividing America for pure politics. Had the war been popular all along with the media, all the people, those jellyfish would be all for it.

The American people are weary of this war. So I understand his sentiment. Our troops are meant to be mobile: Go in, hit and get out. This whole "Win the hearts and minds", stand around and get shot nonsense is what's driving people crazy. No one wants to see their loved ones coming home in caskets in a low intensity civil war half a world away when the objective is still being sketched out and with no rational exit strategy in place.

Since 2004, when they got rid of Colin Powell, the only person in the Bush cabinet who had seen combat and had in fact led troops successfully in the region, the situation has spiraled dangerously out of control. Two countries (Syria and Iran) supplying insurgents through non secured borders. Turkey ready to invade to kill all of the Kurds in the northern region. I wanted Bush to succeed but the situation on the ground is getting untenable at best.

That all being said, I don't want Hilary but for a different reason: I don't want Hilary Clinton in the Whitehouse because that would amount to almost a quarter century of rule by just two families. That's the kind of thing that makes Mexico a crap country to live in and I want no part of that kind of government. If that were to come to pass, It's not out of the realm of possibilities that only those few people who can amass the right political connections will have a chance at elected office. The country would spiral downhill in a hurry.

no but it may not be a matter of who we "want", it may be a matter of choosing the least undesirable. In that case Clinton seems to be it.
FYI: after 4 1/2 years isn't apparent that Billy as right? Bush is even coming around to the idea that diplomacy will prevail where bullets and brutality failed. And that's only because Georgie just recently learned that "diplomacy" doesn't mean having 2 diplomas.

As opposed to another bush? Or even this same one? Yeah, those sure were dark times for America during the Clinton years. Who would want to return to all of that peace and prosperity?

No we don't want any more Clinton criminals as president.

Further we need a real, true American in office.

Guess that excludes the democrat party.
