yes you can, i have been emailing someone for over a year now but never met.....i consider her a friend and i do like her she makes me laugh and has been there for me during the sad times too ...you can usually gather alot of information about people even though you have never met them and you know if you like them or not....

Yes my nephew "met" a girl over the Net(he did know her brother)He went to visit but before he left told his Mum she was the "one".When he got back they were engaged & almost three years on they're married with a baby boy!

I have many friends that I care very much for here on Yahoo! There's few that I'll stay up late visiting with here in my little home town. You don't have to know some one physically to care about them.

Everyone is different, but I can honestly say I've learned to really like someone I've only talked to over AIM or messenger. I don't think you should feel stupid for liking someone you've never met.

I think it is, i mean without meeting them you get to know thenm based on personality instead of looks and then if they are cute its just an added bonus!!

as weird as it may sound ..it can happen.. for some reason there is a spark when you talk to that one...and you can never know when it will happen... so if it happens over the phone or over the computer... yeah i would be hesitant but then why not try...
