No, we shouldn't elect him. He's an invention by the liberal media. And I'm not a racist.

Why does this matter? He shares an obscure and little used part of his name with the primary name of Jordan's best king and with the little used secondary name of a former dictator of Iraq.
(Hussein really isn't a surname in the western sense. Talk about Hussein to an Iraqui and they'll politely ask you about whom you're talking. They called him Saddam- first names are more important there- even phonebooks are by first name, since subsequent names are of varying significance or insignificance). Quibbling over a candidates unused name when the nature of this name is misunderstood is silly. If you don't like the guy, attack him on his policies or agenda, not middle name.

He says he's not a Muslim but then radical Muslims lie as part of their religion. He made the comment that the US will never win in Iraq. With that kind of skepticism, I feel he isn't right at all for the job not to mention his racist comment that if he doesn't get elected there will be racial riots all over the country.
Who cares about his name.

It doesn't matter that Barack Obama, a Christian rather than a Muslim (so stop lying about it), has Hussein as his middle name. What matters is that any Republican nominee who goes into the general election still supporting the Bush-Cheney policies, HIS name is going to be "MUD."

I don't care about a name, it was given to him by someone else. I think we better be more concerned about how candidates fell about the issues facing our country. Good Grief the things people will use to knock other people down. Unreal! By the way, a name does not define your religion or beliefs these days!

It's not his middle name that scares me, it's his policies. I live in Illinois, so I'm quite familiar with the Chicago machine Dems, and shudder to think what would happen if we put the machine in charge of the free world.
btw, "He has an agenda??" Of course he has an agenda. He's a candidate for President of the United States. I bloddy well hope he has an agenda. Why would he run if he had no idea what he was going to do once he got into office?

I wouldn't vote for this man no matter what his middle name was.
Do I care about someone with such a name possibly being President of the United States? Yes I do not wish to see such a thing, but nor do I think it will happen either.

Why not, we elected Bush who went AWOL while in the service and avoided going to Vietnam for Commander in Chief. That's a lot more serious than how you spell your name.

No.
Not only do you not choose your middle name, but it's usually the one that your parents use to satisfy someone who wants to inflict you with some gooffy family name.

NO, i don't care about his middle name any more than I care that he used to call himself Barry. His policies are what matters, and until he starts elaborating them, I'm withholding any consideration of support, but why do you all seem to want to lie about him?

No more than it matters that Bush's personal friends and business partners are named Bin Laden.
