How would it feel to be woke up in the middle of the night and find yourself surrounded by armed men wanting to not only rob you, but refuse to leave until you completely change your life? Then you try to call for help and you find that more armed men are coming, not to help you, but to help them? Let's get to the facts, this war isn't about anything other then oil. The US wants to rob them for their oil. Now we are saying that not only are we not leaving, but that we want them to change their lives completely. How would you feel if another country came here and said you know what, we don't like the way you do things so we are going to force you to change your government whether you like it or not? Do you think that the US would really just stand and take it? Before you are so quick to support the war, there are a few things that you need to look into, such as Operation Mongoose from 1962, publicly exposed in 1997. Also what al-queda stands for and do research on Islam.

I for one am a proud muslim woman who converted to Islam about 3 yrs ago. Why is it that we can't just let the East live in the laws that they have set forth and have worked for them for how long now?......If our laws were a little more like theirs, what do you think the US's crime rate would look like? Before you judge, don't you think you should look into their beliefs a little more? Don't be so quick to judge just on what the media tells you. If muslim's and muslim countries were so horrible, why is Islam one of the fastest growing religions in the US and why are so many muslims trying to leave the US to go to these countries?

If this war isn't really about the oil then what is it about exactly? Does anyone REALLY know anymore? They change what it's supposed to be about every couple of years and we just keep going along with it. The problem is that the US isn't leaving in a timely manner, it's one excuse after another as to why we can't leave. What's the real reason? Yeah gas prices are through the roof, believe me I feel it every time I have to fill my SUV, but who is REALLY profiting from all of this? The US is stealling oil, there are thousands of barels every week missing from over there, who's getting them? I don't see any other countries over there so insistant on "helpng the Iraqi people". Al-queda's image has been so twisted in the recent years. It was OK when the CIA was funding them to withdraw the soviets from over there, there main goal has always been to stop foreign influence in Islamic countries, so what is the big problem now? Al-queda translates to "the base"
not terrorist

Biased question but I'll answer anyway
It would piss me off and I would allow them to search my home. They eventually had to leave and in a timely manner.
Then again if my neighbors had been people who used to rape my children and kill my brothers I really wouldn't mind someone else coming in and robbing me as long as thy killed the bastards that wronged my family
Thoughts please you brainwashed ninny

al queda is a group of disgrunteled, power hungry religous zealots. even most islamic leaders agree that al-queda is a group of nutcases. and if the iraqi people had taken control of the situation in the 90's this war would not have happened.oil? the price of oil is at or near an all time high. and what it is that you do not like about democracy? the voting, the idea that your gov should work for you, the concept of freedom? and if the people of iraq would stop moving like a tall reed in the political winds of war and stand up to the killers in their midst, the military would be gone by now. yes the usa came in but it is the cowardice of the people in that country to fight for their country that keeps them there. al-queda sucks and everybody knows this to be the truth. at very best they are no better than the "people" that will not leave your house. we left the kurds in the 90's. that did not work out so well.

I support the war, and after reading your post I don't really get the connection. When did we break in to rob? When did we force a change in the way of life? I remember democratic elections don't you? If the war is about oil why am I paying more than three dollars a gallon? Islam is a sham religion in it's present form. The first book of Mohamed is completely different than the second that the extremists follow.
Edit: If you converted to Islam good for you. But why should I have to be converted to your beliefs? Especially by violence? When was the last time an American strapped a bomb to himself and killed innocent people in the name of Christianity?

A country is not a house. It comprises a lot of houses of multiple religions. There are the kurdish, the sunni, and the shia. The comparison falls down very quickly, especially because the "house" you're referring to consisted of a dictator who killed his "family" members for any reason.
Saying "this war isn't about anything other than oil" cannot in any way shape or form be construed as a fact. Nor is "The US wants to rob them for their oil" a fact. I don't see anything in your rant that references facts.
Facts:
1. The U.S. was attacked by terrorists.
2. The U.N. had evidence of WMDs in Iraq.
3. The U.N. weapons inspectors were kicked out of Iraq.
4. The U.S. believed Iraq should be dealt with because of their defiance (whether misled by Clinton, Bush, and/or faulty intelligence or not).
5. The U.S. invaded Iraq because of the possibility of WMDs being developed and used (especially against Isreal)
6. The U.S. did not secure the peace, even though Saddam Hussein was soundly defeated.
7. Various factions wanting power in Iraq created resistance forces.
8. Prodded by the U.S., Iraqi citizens voted for a constitution and created a government (by the people).
9. WMDs were not found, although there's not proof they weren't shipped out when the U.S. attacked
9. Al-Quaida built up forces in Iraq and stepped up suicide bombings.
10. Iraqi factions are starting to unite with each other and the US, at least in opposing Al-Quaida.
Those are the facts. There are some points left out, but none of them deal directly with oil.
I believe that most people in Iraq would love for the U.S. to succeed in uniting the country, rooting out violence, and banishing Al-Quaida. Most Iraqis know that without the U.S. there right now, they are not strong enough to oppose forces of oppression and destruction. Until Iraqis stand up and unite against the forces that are there to destroy them (which isn't the U.S. by the way), the U.S. must stay there.

You are absolutely right. We should get as far from the Middle East as possible. Don't even let anyone from the middle east fly into American airspace. No visa's, no visitor passes, nothing. The best day in American history will be when we no longer need to import oil into this country and we can quit dealing with the idiocy of the middle east. Barbaric lunacy is all that comes from there.

First of all, to say we "broke" in is complete crap. We didn't break in without notice. In the 1990s, President Bush (the first) told Saddam that if he continues to supply nuclear bombs and attack Kuwait, then we would have to use force. The UN repeatedly told Saddam to give up the weapons, but he didn't. He then threatened to use them once more later on near the 2000s. We went in and didn't find them. However, what we did find was a complete wreck and a nation that was falling apart. We helped them out and gave Iraq what they need to survive. We are even in the middle giving them a democratic government. Turns out that Saddam was making Iraq nothing but a sh*t hole, until we came in. He tortured and butchered people. Try 300,000-400,000. Cut off heads, raped women, and pushed people off of buildings. Torture. We didn't invade for oil. If that were the case than we wouldn't be paying record high for oil now. We didn't "attack" them unilaterally, or went in unilaterally either. We are helping them. More than Saddam would do. Since we captured Saddam, Iraq has been twice as better. Still their are problems in Iraq, but were working on it as we speak. We're not asking them to change their lives either idiot. Geez. We didn't say we were forcing them, either. Since we came in, I raq has been much better and more democratic. Second, now Islam. Their is much to say about it, such AS HOW THEY ARE FREAKING MURDERERS. And I'm not racist cbecause if you were smart, you'd know that Islam isn't a race. Islam has said they will kill and capture until everybody submits to Islam. Don't believe me? Wll go to jihadwatch.org, dhimmiwatch.org, or how about aljazeera.net and take a look. How dare you speak this way about America. America is the greatest and nicest country on the planet. You idiot. Think about what you say and think through your facts.

IT'S AN IGNORANT ANALOGY. YOU THINK YOU KNOW WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING. IF THIS WAS ABOUT OIL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE AND OVER WITH. SCREW ALQUADA AND ISLAM STANDS FOR DEATH. IF IT DIDN'T WHY AREN'T THEIR ANY PROMINENT ISLAMIC CLERICS STANDING UP AGAINST ALL THE MUSLIM ON MUSLIM KILLING THAT IS GOING ON IN IRAQ? ALL THE ISLAMIC EXTREMIST IN THE WORLD HAVE A FREE HAND AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE WHY ISN'T ANY MUSLIM PROTESTING THE PUBLIC BEHEADING AND THE STONING OF RAPE VICTIMS? EVEN IN THIS COUNTRY THE PEOPLE THAT ARE AGAINST THE WAR HAVE A SAY. I HAVE YET TO HEAR ANY ISLAMIC CLERIC OR IMAM STAND UP AGAINST THE EVIL THAT THE EXTREMIST ARE DISPLAYING. FOR ALL YOU ALQUEDA LOVING ANTI AMERICANS LOOK WHAT THE TALIBAN DID WITH ALQUEDA HELP TO THE PEOPLE OF AFGHANISTAN.

Just for your twisted beliefs to see. I was in Afghanistan on the opening operations and was in a Hangar searching for people. in one room we found 400 yes 400 bodies killed and raped and beheaded by Yep you guessed it YOUR FELLOW MUSLIMS the bodies were piled in a room like wood. I went there again in 2005 and the blood stained cement is still colored with the blood. So do alittle research Hajji and if your so hard for contempt go to your place in Islam and leave us out of your excuses for bombing schools filled with kids, hiding behind women, and blaming your poverty nation on the USA.

Your analogy is way off, and your "facts" are not.
You people who use the old "what would you do if someone invaded your country....blah blah blah" argument fail to consider one fact:
I would not have voted for a government if I thought it was a puppet government set up by the invaders.
You people conveniently forget the Iraqi people came out in record numbers to exercise their new right to vote. Doesn't sound like people seething about be invaded and oppressed.

It sounds to me you're trolling. You analogy is off based. Your facts are irrelevant. You ask others to do research when you haven't done the research yourself. What Al-queda stands for?
Are you serious? Do you have any idea who what has caused acts of terrorism?
