It will perform a degauss cycle each time it is turned on. You can probably also degauss it from the OSD menu.

The degauss circuit needs time to recover before it will be effective again. Wait 20 minutes between degauss cycles.

If the internal degauss circuit is not good enough, then take it to a TV repair shop where they will have a more powerful degauss wand or ring that will do the job.

Hi, if it is a CRT (tv style) then when you turn it off and on this degauses the monitor, or in the menu there is often a facilty to degause, you will hear a click and a picture go a funny color for 2 seconds then return to normal, if this doesnt clear it then the degause circuit on the screen is faulty. all degause is, when it whacks the tube with high voltage AC, this clears and color issues. there are some adjusting POTS inside but it is a little doggy as you really need the screen on to see if your adjusting is working and your hand is close to the tube which has high voltage on it!. good luck an take care.
