Next time I'm talking to a psychiatrist, I will ask him.
Where do I send his answer?

Actually, if you had asked this question on Monday, I maybe could have told you. I went and saw a therapist because I thought I had an inferiority complex....but he told me it wasn't a complex.

It's more complicated than that.

Here's a table that describes some of the MORE COMMON theories of crime causation. Mind you, there are more.

2. Psychology low intelligence, psychopathy, stress
3. Ecology disorganized neighborhoods
4. Strain economic goal blockage
5. Learning imitation, reinforcement schedules
6. Control socialization, low self-control
7. Labeling shunning, identity immersion
8. Conflict power differentials, competition
9. Radical class struggle, capitalism
10. Left Realism predatory relationships
11. Peacemaking inner suffering and turmoil
12. Feminist gender inequity, patriarchy

If a non-criminal commits a crime, he instantly becomes a criminal. So they're the only ones committing crimes.

It depends.

Some do it for thrills. Some do it out of desperation. Some do it because they hate others. Some do it because they are greedy and don't care about others. Some do it because they think the laws are stupid and what they're doing doesn't hurt anyone else.

Each criminal has their own motivation -- and there is no single answer to the question.
