I'm afraid I have a bad habit of jumping into others' conversations, even strangers, but usually because I have information that I think would help them. For instance, if I overhear someone talking about trying to find an item or how to get a stain out, I'll jump in and share my info. I think this is a pretty common reaction in the rural South, though. It drives my daughter crazy!

Most of the time I mind my own business. However, occasionally I might make a remark or two if the subject of conversation interests me.

I always add something to the conversation. That's what a conversation is about, isn't it? Otherwise, it's someone just telling you their opinion.

Although I voice my opinions a lot - I normally mind my own business if I think it's more appropriate doing so. However, I would certainly step in if I saw a mother beating her child, a man kicking a dog, or we're talkin' about politics!

Anything that is made public is my business. If people are speaking around me loud enough for me to hear them, then they are having a private conversation but a public one. So they have made what they say my business. If I choose then to commit on it, then I will. If they don't want that to happen, then they should keep their conversation private by not speaking in public, or doing so loud enough for others to hear.

Yes. I do mind my own business. Cause it's just common sense. But now a day's seem's many people have lost touch with what seems to be proper etiquette! So I think we need to teach these lessons of proper etiquette again to our children!

I mind my own business. But if they are talking about something in front of me I sometimes put my 2 cents in.
